Allegheny National Forest (USDA Forest Service) – Timber Marking– AMRO Forestry is currently conducting timber marking & cruising on the Allegheny National Forest.

Suffolk County (NYS DEC) – Timber Marking– AMRO Forestry has conducted timber marking on over a thousand acres of NYS DEC managed property in order to reduce the impacts of Southern Pine Beetle (SPB) infestation in Long Island Pine Barrens.

Chenango County (Private landowner) – 480A Forest Management Plan and Timber Sale – AMRO Forestry has completed a forest management plan and plan updates (NYS-480A Tax Law) for approximately 140 acres, focusing on sound silviculture, pre-salvage ash recovery, and improving somewhat degraded stands, as well as maintaining and improving wildlife habitat. Subsequently, AMRO carried out all aspects of a timber sale across 100 acres.

Orange County (Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation) – Forest Management Plans and Timber Sales – AMRO Forestry in conjunction with LBS Ecological Services is currently conducting timber inventory, writing management plans, marking timber and conducting timber sales for the county.  Multiple properties are currently being worked on, which will ultimately impact more than 6000 acres of county-owned property. The plans are focused on balancing multiple use goals, including improved forest conditions, wildlife habitat, creating revenue and recreational conditions.

Ulster County (Non-profit Landowner) – Forest Management Plan – A forest management plan has been completed by AMRO Forestry for the 1400 acre Dai Bosatsu Zendo property in central Catskills. The plan is focused on improving forest conditions, wildlife habitat, and carbon sequestration, with the goal of creating conditions beneficial to entering the carbon credit market.

Westchester County (Village) – Hillside Woods and Park Tree Inventory and Management Plan– A Tree Inventory and Forest Management Plan has been completed by LBS Ecological Services in conjunction with AMRO Forestry to address the requirements of the NYS DEC Urban and Community Forestry Program. The Forest Management Plan will serve as a long-term action plan to give the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson detailed information, recommendations, and a strategy to proactively manage the Hillside Woods/Park public land.
